Central Flying School<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Central Flying School\u2019s main mission is to prepare students for the airmen knowledge exam and the airmen practical exam. The CFS also works with students completing their pilot certification to acquire additional skills toward their mission aviation requirements. The students are expected to complete coursework, practice exams, preflight tasks, and other tasks required by the flight instructors to achieve their certification. The Central Flying School is a vitally important part of the Redeemed Flying Corps that continues to refine, improve and meet the ever-advancing requirements of future airmen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ground Training<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Ground Training currently uses course material based on FAA standards, the Jeppesen pilot guide series, and Kings Schools online resources. Instruction includes live classroom and video teleconferencing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flight Instruction<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Flight Instruction currently trains on the Piper Cherokee and Warrior family of aircraft. Volunteer flights to expose the prospective students to flight are performed in the Cherokee while the flight instruction is in the Warrior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Flight Simulator<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Flight Simulator consists of a fixed and rotor wing simulation. The simulator is configured to mimic the Piper Cherokee, Warrior, and Arrow for a wide array of performance training and exposure to complex systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
