General Aviation Flight Training
While the Redeemed Flying Corps’ primary mission is to equip and train pilots for missionary aviation, we also provide high-quality flight training for the general aviation community.
Whether your goal is to earn a Private Pilot Certificate, pursue advanced ratings, or simply learn to fly for personal or professional reasons, we are committed to helping you achieve your aviation goals in a safe, professional, and encouraging environment.
As a nonprofit organization, every flight lesson serves a greater purpose. Revenue generated through our public flight training program is reinvested into the mission of the Redeemed Flying Corps by funding scholarships that help aspiring pilots pursue flight training. These scholarships may be awarded to qualified students pursuing either general aviation or missionary aviation training, making aviation more accessible to those who have the desire to fly but need financial assistance.
When you choose to train with the Redeemed Flying Corps, you’re not only investing in your own aviation journey—you’re also helping prepare the next generation of pilots to serve others through aviation around the world.
Training Cost
The Redeemed Flying Corps is committed to providing professional, affordable flight training while investing in the future of aviation. Training costs vary depending on each student’s aptitude, study habits, and frequency of lessons. While the FAA establishes minimum flight hour requirements for pilot certificates, most students require additional training to become safe, proficient pilots. For example, the FAA minimum flight hours for a private pilot’s license is 40 hours; the national average for a student to complete training is 65 hours.
